Nankathai


Nankathai ( We call it naanhatan!), the white little flower shaped sweet which just starts to melt once you pop it in your mouth. It is one such traditional sweet from south indian muslims. In olden days making nankathai was a tough task, grinding in the grinding stone or kodakkal then ferment it and bake it. But now it is not so. You can prepare it in a jiffy.
